To be a globally respected society that conducts the best-of-breed ROBOTIX event and workshops, and spread awareness about robotics among the students.

Technology Robotix Society, TRS is a society dedicated to the advancement of robotics in IIT Kharagpur and beyond. TRS has to its credit, the channeling of scores of young talented minds to this exciting field of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. We are a society that boasts of a dedicated team which works extensively in these disciplines and helps spread it in form of intra and inter collegiate workshops. First years learn how to make one-hour-robots in introductory workshops, and year long theory and practical sessions. Our hands-on Winter Workshop for the first years have been christened as 'The most productive weeks in fresher life'. The senior members of the group have taken robotics to avenues hitherto thought unreachable. Each year, we better the best. With the idea of encompassing the entire country, and even the globe, we organize ROBOTIX, the annual robotics competition held during KSHITIJ at IIT Kharagpur, which is now the largest of its kind in India. With the statistics escalating every year, we witnessed a boom last year with more than 2500 participants, 1200 teams, 11 international teams and prizes worth over 2 lakhs. ROBOTIX extends its legendary story with yet more challenging and brain-storming problem statements this year! TRS is expanding its vistas with many more external workshops all over India, which have met with phenomenal response in the past. We continue to strive for excellence in this pursuit of spreading robotics and paving the way for world class robotics R&D in India.

To develop a quality focused technical event while exploring new vistas. The aim of Robotix is to encourage and empower the untapped and budding potential of students by providing them a platform where they not only compete but also learn how to put up a better challenge.

We aspire of providing students - be they participants or onlookers, a feel of "not very far-fetched" problems and their solutions. This ambitious mission is supported by our zeal and dedication to provide a ground of equity to the amateur talents and their further honing and development.

The competition's realms are not only limited to a competitor's point of view but extends itself to the best of a learner's sight. Various talks and seminars are there to suffice this part of our endeavor.
